There are many ways that you can become involved in this community tradition. The Ham Jam Arts Festival owes its recent success to its many volunteers. In 2007, there were over 200 volunteers who helped this event go above and beyond its goals.
The festival committee is made up of several sub-committees that begin planning this event as far as eight months in advance. Some of the committees include; entertainment, vendor liaison, kid's area, piglet playtime area, pet show, talent contest, Memphis in May BBQ competition, Ham Jam Slam basketball tournament, and sponsorship...just to name a few.
